7 Truths - 0 Lies

Truth is as narrow as the universe is wide.

Truth exists. The universe was created upon it, but falsehood has to be invented.

Despite all the Liar's furious efforts - truth cannot be lost.

As bubbles in a bottle it will always rise.

Seven truths that live eternally.

There is only one:

  1. salvation for all men. It is through Jesus the Christ.
  2. forgiveness of sin for all men. It is through Jesus the Christ.
  3. righteousness that men can be clothed in. It is the mantle of Jesus the Christ.
  4. life upon earth through which men can repent. Men are destined to die only once and then be judged.
  5. way, one truth and one life. This is through Jesus the Christ.
  6. good Shepherd who gives the words of wisdom. This is Jesus the Christ.
  7. tree for the healing of the nations. This is the Tree of Life, the Cross of Jesus the Christ.

2000 years ago Jesus the Christ predicted the impossible. Israel's prophets too had spoken of Him many centuries earlier. Jesus the Christ taught He would die and would rise again on the third day. He did!

Jesus' resurrection creates the pure simplicity to believe everything that He did and boldly taught.

I am settled without doubt in my mind. I know there is no other sensible or valid response to the life-giving, grace-wielding Jesus other than a thank-filled repentance.

His words were proved true by His actions. In Him there are no lies or deceit. I am fully convinced, there is no wavering. He alone is to be worshipped forever. But, it all starts now.

REJOICE - it is safe (not popular) to be narrow minded for that is the nature of true and uncomplicated faith. Indeed, this is the faith of a small child that transports every disciple across earth to heaven.

Let us hold unswervingly to the faith we profess, for He who promised is faithful... so do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. (Hebrews 10:23, 35 & 36)

The day is sudden and certain to come, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus the Christ is Lord. This is the day that vindicates he who walked the narrow path, and protected his soul that he could pass through the narrow gate. Accepting Jesus' truth is to choose truth-filled single-mindedness.

Celebrate the narrow mind.

The belief is far easier than the walk. 'Keep the truth and it will keep you.' (William Bridge)
