Forever I Would Choose You

What else can I gather, who else can I know but You?

Apart from You I am empty, in Your absence I thirst

As your right hand rests lightly upon me, in Your presence I am settled

You forgive my sins that are still dark to me, and lift the sins I can see

Babylon creates no lights that outshine You

The Tree of Knowledge offers no measure that suggests You are ignorant

No army of man or threat from principalities and powers can scare You

Whether this heart be dashed upon rocks or my soul sings You a symphony -

forever I would choose You.

For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish. (Jeremiah 31:25)

Today's Soul Snippet:
