I Have Just 1 Question For You

All of mankind justifiably desires the best of life. But, they place the cart before the horse in this pursuit.

Most men see life as only transitory, with no betterment or detriment after death. So each lives to gain the best today.

They rush and grab at all kinds of treasures to satisfy their eyes and desires. This hustle, is in fact, to their great disadvantage. It is counter-productive. For He who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, who has created ALL treasure is never considered, nor even believed.

Men hurry past true gold every second of every day, and miss He who has all and does give the very best without finding fault.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

The two simplest steps to attain the life that offers more, far more than any master craftsman can create are:

  1. seek first His kingdom - permit the Lord to rule as king in your life, and
  2. seek first God's righteousness - permit His habits and His ways to become yours...

it is only then that these things shall be given to you.

With these two practises well in place it is simple to trust Him to look after the rest, those deep desires of your heart.

This way of living is now putting the horse before the cart.

Life asks each man just one question - who is best to run my life, me or Jesus?

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
