Samantha's Lesson!

Soul Snack 165/14 ... Four year olds hold a faith-sealed wisdom reaching well beyond the passage time.

Below, pre-school Samantha offers a sober lesson to all those older, wiser and certainly more learned.

A very recent true story from her faith-filled mom:

Samantha has been a bit scared to be left alone anywhere of recent times. She has been following me around closer than a shadow.

Tonight I got wiser and told her that she will be ok because even if I am not close, God is always watching over her. She responded very well to this and stayed in her bedroom by herself for a few minutes as I bathed her baby brother.

When I shortly returned, a beaming Samantha peeked around her bedroom door and explained from a new calm, she was OK to stay by herself because God was watching over her ~ TOO BEAUTIFUL!

A young child, a pre-schooler has not yet dieted on the Tree of Knowledge; they still do know the things of God. Facts He has placed within and around all men are still alive to their souls; the inner witness to Himself children are yet to suppress. God's truths are not hidden from the young for they are yet to learn wickedness.

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. (Romans 1:18-19)

A child's innocence is the conduit for their inner-sense of God.

Jesus held a peculiar honor for children; it is peculiar that spiritually adept adults don't.

While an adult's faith grows dulled, children still live within its flames; blazes that can light a household or befriend the scared.

A plea to adults of mature Christian faith:

nurture the compressed faith-filled child within, for they remain there.
