Staying the Course

Victory is not to the strong of muscle but to the strong of mind.

Three verses to steer your days to Heaven:

  1. Fix your thoughts upon Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess. (Hebrews 3:1)
  2. Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are His house, if we hold onto our courage and the hope of which we boast. (Hebrews 3:6)
  3. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the confidence we had at first.  (Hebrews 3:14)

As a nail punched into hard wood, or two metals wedded by a welder so should the disciple's resolve be. He cements the mind and heart upon the risen Jesus alone.

An insecure faith is a shaky future - a strong faith is a firm future.

There is no silver bullet that makes this life easy, but there is golden crown that makes the next bliss. It is the gift for all those who stay the course and set their sail into the Holy Spirit wind.

Press on but don't forget:

The louder the call - the harder the task.

But - yet again and again I repeat, inscribe this upon your soul and tattoo it upon your forehead:

The impossible is available to those who rely upon the eternal.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength...He enables me to tread on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:19)
