That Noisy Brain

Daily we live trading our seconds in daydreams, and dallying with too long moments in our thoughts.

We each may sit in perfect silence, enjoy harmony's solitude and even retreat to the cave of the mind, but our thoughts are far noisier than our words ever can be.

The thoughts of men speak louder in heaven than their words do upon earth. ~ anon

Do not be deceived:

The notion of hiding the mind from God's ears is as impossible as hiding the body from His eyes.

You perceive my thoughts from afar,... where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? (Psalm 139:2b, 7)

There may be a riot stampeding in my brain or I may be strolling in a peace march, yet the volume neither attracts or distacts heaven's attention. Heaven always listens, hears all.

Your every thought is heard in Heaven. God hears . . . your wishes, the longings of your heart, your aspirations, and hunger of your soul. ~ Annette Shankar

Heaven hears me whether I speak or remain quiet. This fact now causes me to exercise far more thinking care. For my thoughts travel farther than I can imagine, across distances I am unable to fathom.

Yes - even today they echo in heaven, as they did yesterday and will do tomorrow.

May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)

Today's Soul Snippet:

Our words echo on earth, our thoughts echo in heaven but our actions echo in eternity.
