• The Righteous Man

    10 September, 2017

As with Noah, as with Moses and as with our Lord Jesus, the Father chooses just one righteous man to change His world. He calls no committees.

Righteousness is the unseen yeast that will cause this flattened world to rise.

Righteousness is the guarantee of unpopularity upon earth. But, also the promise of welcome in heaven.

The righteous man stands prayerfully steadfast in breaches unrighteous men cannot comprehend. But these oaks of mankind will likely stand alone. Their prayers rise to a responsive Heaven.

Where a righteous man is unwelcome it is a sure sign that wickedness is in rule.

The ways of a righteous man are considered at best curious by the wicked who think it strange they do not plunge into sin with them. A wicked man does not grasp his wickedness.

The righteous man has been tutored on the path of fiery stones that led to the foot of the Cross. It was there he knelt, and red drips from his breathing Jesus rolled down his head and shoulders.

The deeds of a righteous man always hold him erect. Righteousness his shield, fidelity his anchor and truth his canopy. His children are blessed after him.

"Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace." (Psalm 37:7)

Let it be known that faithfulness and righteousness are bed partners.

The righteous man receives the heritage of those who fear God's name. He will ever fill his lungs in praise of the eternal and life giving King.

Only the separated man will with clarity hear the voice of God. ~ A. W. Tozer
