The Road to Heaven

The correct path is often found when mistakes are seen, after the wrong lane is proved to be a dead-end. But there is a far more painless way.
Contained within the Word of God is a lifetime's mapping - the navigation from heaven for earth's voyagers.
It is the Christian tourist's 'Lonely Planet' guide to the secure and pleasant havens upon earth.
The Bible hems earth's traveller in, while fencing out roaring lions and fearsome bears that seek to destroy the sojourner. It is a shield to the soul, protection from all sorts of known and unknown evil.
God's Word plants feet on the paths of righteousness. It interrogates hearts and confronts thoughts. The Bible steers always to safety.
The Word steadfastly refuses to leave any diligent reader unattended, or sinking ever deeper within the deadly morass of sin. Only feet intent on sin will wander from God's safe mapping.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tomothy 3:16-17)
God's Word is THE map for a disciple to follow.
A dusty Bible on the shelf is without use. A trusted Bible imprinted upon the soul is the safe road across earth to heaven.
