When My Heart Condemns Me!
The regular march of life must also traipse past the posts of self-condemnation. Countless lives collide with these posts that flank their highway to heaven.
Do we not get to that point where we even expect our hearts to condemn us? Familiarity with self-criticism has been bred when we have bumped into too many condemnation posts fencing our paths.
Knock these rotten posts down fixed by the evil-one along your way to damage your spirit, and rob you of truth. Look to the witness of your actions, the love you attempt so faithfully to live and the presence of God in your life, for these are the axes that fell the harmful posts.
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. This is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything. (1 John 3:18-20)
If you criticise yourself you are doing the devil's work for him, choosing to don the mantle of pain.
When your heart judges you move into the presence of His heart that doesn't.
