SOUL SNACK 22 ... Conspiracy vs Confidence

'Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God, in the heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.' Deut 4:39

There is a conspiracy! The recesses of my mind doubt! The reactions around me confuse!

God is not on His throne! Ample evidence surrounds me about His failure to govern well.

Yet, daily God pleads with me to see life His way. He asks me for both a head and heart relationship with Him. He pleads that I would be confident in Him alone. He so strongly desires that I may know His enduring and perfect government. He cries that I may see that there are NO competitors to Him.

There is courage and confidence for me daily in His righteous government. Not in my self-righteous indulgence. There is no place for deception. He is in heaven above and earth below.

His government is always increasing! It will NEVER be voted out! His peace is ever increasing and this will not end! (Is 9:7a). There is ONLY ONE GOD who begs me to place all my confidence in Him all day. He begs me to, despite what may be outward evidence to the contrary.

I will not fall for the conspiracy that robs God of His throne in my life. There is rest for me, for those always confident in Him.
