Soul Snack 12/12 ... ?

The happy have little cause to examine their life and the wealthy always desire more. Yet the poor man who is without either wealth or happiness has cause to stop, sit and ponder his state. He examines his emptiness and then bows before the Lord ... who really is the better off?

Remember him—before the silver cord is severed,
   or the golden bowl is broken;
before the pitcher is shattered at the spring,
