Soul Snack 209/11 ... Life's Scenery

Could you paint a landscape of your life's path now?

Would the path be the centre of this artwork?

Would the path snake forward or flee backward?

What choices did you make at the various intersections?

Were these intersections met in light, grey or darkness?

What scenery would your path course through - a desert with scattered blooms, a dark ocean of monstrous waves or maybe an eden? How often would this scenery change?

Whatever scenery accompanied your path of life the scenery that salvation brings is so far superior.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. (Rev 20:1-2)

The destination is worth the difficulty of the journey.
