Soul Snack 177/11 ... Spiritual Asthmatics

We must learn how to pray and not just perform.

Praying must become our profession and replace our planning.

Praying must be as comfortable as breathing and as natural as drawing breath.

Is not a spiritual asthmatic one who is unable to expel prayer through their lips?

Jesus taught us to pray for workers not to recruit them.(Matthew 9:38).

Jesus taught us to pray for the Holy Spirit.(Luke 11:13)

On our knees earth is brought to heaven and temptation is fenced out.

From our knees the sweetest scents of praise waft to the Throne of Grace.

Invite God to do the planning, employing and the sending 'cos He has invited you to do the asking.

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (Luke 11:9-10)
