Soul Snack 87/13 ... To the Bankrupt & Blameworthy
What made the servant angry enough to want to choke a fellow servant over a mere $100? Had he forgotten his outrageous $1,000,000,000 debt was now written off? This first servant did not seek the debt forgiven but simply asked for time to pay. He was sufficiently deluded to think that were it not for the money owed him by his fellow servant he might just have repaid the debt. (Read this parable in Matt 18:21-35.)
Grace is an insult to those who hate being told they need to be forgiven.
Grace rejecters pass on blame. They prefer time in jail at the hands of torturers thinking they can pay their own debts. (How else would you explain the popularity of purgatory even in this day and age?)
It is only in Christ do we discover that sin is really serious. In Him alone do we find the type of forgiveness that leaves us without debt and frees us from the need to blame others.
Perhaps the most important lesson we can learn from this parable is that morally bankrupt people like ourselves must humbly come to God for total forgiveness, not to discuss repayment plans.
The servant’s master took pity on him, cancelled the debt and let him go. (Matt 18:27)
Jesus died to settle debts, not to create them!#

Soul Snack 86/13 ... The Sexual Avenger ~ D

The struggle beyond marriage
Satan's masquerade as light has blinded most who walk upon God's earth. He has bundled mankind into a cesspit of tar and feathers, while they think it is a pond of milk and honey.
The world is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless (see Hosea 7:11).
The world has no ability to discern good from evil. There is no torch beam of light or moral compass to be found in kitchen drawers.
Such is the sexual license that the world:
- is camping in the dark on a dry river bed; it is below a dam wall with an already overflowing spillway
- has erected a tent in a bushland ablaze with wildfire.
In forty years time I predict that the horror that is still held today for paedophilia will be diluted. Four decades ago homosexuality was also unthinkable and unspeakable. What intervention is there to hinder the moral rot?
There are many other homosexual agendas (not too loud yet) that will continue to handcuff the world in sexual bondage and de-magnetise any residual moral compass.
On July 27th 2012 the New Zealand Times reported the struggle beyond marriage by a homosexual NZ lobby group. This group (amongst so many other excesses) is calling for 'equal rights' to polyamory.
Even more sexual deviations are becoming acceptable but they are things that should not be spoken of.
Satan is a sexual avenger, taking revenge against the Lord and His people through the blind coercion of the moral towards the immoral, and then the immoral to deeper sin. People are his preferred tool of revenge, sex is his recruitment strategy.
The purpose of wisdom is to identify deception and what should be honored.
The purpose of light is to select where the footsteps are placed and what the heart is to cherish.
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men... will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9-10)
