SOUL SNACK 47 ... A Privilege Worth Pursuing!

"Taste and see that the Lord is good…" Ps 34:8a

This multi-cultural society beckons, indeed massages the palate. The delights of 'foreign' flavours are indeed to desire and to seek. They truly are ours to experience.

Here too God beckons, yes, invites us to experience Him. For, to know Him is to also feel Him. Taste is a sensation to the 'inner person'. This is exactly where God wants to live. His desire is to be in our hearts. His desire is to dwell in the seat of our emotions. He desires to place His good in our hearts.

To 'taste' God is to take Him in. God invites His own to a continually good experiential walk with Himself. He offers what this world cannot.

Is there anything more affirming than tasting Jesus as your forever friend?

Is there anything more fulfilling than tasting His call in your life?

Is there anything more restoring than tasting the forgiveness of the risen Lord?

Is there anything superior to tasting 'well done good and faithful servant'?

Is there anything richer than receiving from a bounty that never ends?

To personally relate to God truly is a privilege to be pursued! It is far easier to live well when I feel good.
