Soul Snack 35/11 ... Christ - the explorer

Adventure lives within each child. The draw of excitement, the lure of the unknown and the pleasure of a new experience is grafted into the young.

Children have a capacity that rises from innocence to be a pioneer and to live without the rule of fear. Children will tread where angels fear to tread.

This is the strength of the young who will willingly go where none have gone before (at least they still think that none have gone before).

David Livingstone, the intrepid missionary and explorer to Africa taught beaten paths are for beaten people ... I want workers who will come where there are no paths.

Christ left Heaven on an adventure that would cost His life.

In His expedition to earth, He went where no God had ever been before. He claimed a new path and explored the extremities of faith and love.

Christ still calls explorers and searches for pioneers, for He still has new places to go.

Could Christ be calling and searching for you as His new pioneer? Could Christ be calling you to new and untrodden paths? Would you ask Him?

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last ... (Jn 15:16)

Today's Soul Snippet:

When a troubled seed is sown, it will reap a tortured harvest.
