Soul Snack 48/11 ... The Hole in the Heavens

There is a heart shaped hole in the heavens. It is where God's love has fallen through and watered the earth.

His heart lay wounded upon a deadly hill outside Jerusalem. It was pierced by a cross-shaped stake. His punctured heart drenched Golgotha in crimson.

Heaven's heart was broken so mine could be mended.

Heaven's heart fell so mine could be caught.

Heaven's heart wept so mine could smile.

The hole in the heavens was to fill the hole in my heart.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
