Soul Snack 84/11 ... Divine real-estate

If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge—then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. (Ps 91:9-10)

God can be a place of visiting or a place of vocation, but His invitation is to be the place of living. He asks to be the roof over your head, the walls that surround you and the carpet under your feet. God wants to be your doorway each morning, your porch each evening and your windows through which you view life.

To dwell with God is to sit with Him, invite to the table, listen to Him and inquire of Him. In sharing your life with God, He is honored, known and loved by you. You can even discuss decisions with Him. He becomes the venue of existence, the friend that is forever and the arms of ever-present comfort.

To dwell with God is to gain divine real-estate that can't be bought, never sold and is not subject to earthquakes or floods. It requires no agent, charges no rent, nor claims mortgage payments. There are no power bills, land rates or property tax.

When you elect to dwell with God on earth, you are choosing for permanence with God in heaven.
