Soul Snack 76/11 ... Pools of Love

God is the master landscape gardener. Across His garden of heaven are scattered countless glistening pools. They are the composition of His garden, around which God has planted His foliage.

Into a pool God has abandoned my:

• gracelesseness,
• faithlessness,
• lovelessness,
• indulgences,
• flights of fancy,
• hurtful speech,
• vile thoughts,
• pride of knowledge,
• arrogance of position,
• lusts of the flesh,
• greed of the soul and my
• lethargy of spirit.

All this (and so much more that I may never even realize) He has drowned in the life giving water of His Holy Spirit -- the water in His ponds.

He has immersed me too in this Pool of Love and bathed me in His cleansing holy and living Spirit.

Heaven's garden is complete in pools because He has a Pool of Love for everyone who can call Him Father and will bend the knee to Him as Lord.

There is a Pool of Love too for you -- enjoy the swim today.

But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever. (Ps 52:8)
