Soul Snack 118 ... Tricky Treasure

'Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep'. Ps 36:5-6

Surrounded in thick obscuring mists are long hidden treasures. There are no guard dogs, security systems or impregnable vaults. These treasures are readily available. They are placed deliberately so as to be found. Accessibility is easy. These treasures are in no remote forest, atop any lofty mountain or below any deep sea.

Visibility however is most difficult. Invisibility the undesired and unplanned security system. Invisible treasures are very difficult to receive. That warm smile, or gesture of invitation quickly lost if not seen.

Heaven however reaches out to all men with His treasures still so frequently obscured, even though they fill the earth. Love has been lost to lust. Faithfulness is second to fun, and righteousness replaced by revelry. With justice shrouded in judgementalism these readily available treasures are now out of mans' sight.

Yet to all who would seek with the fresh eyes of faith and grace, these invisible treasures are still available, TODAY! This tricky treasure is not! It is simply for MY taking.

Father, thankyou that your treasures are readily available to me now. Forgive me for the times I miss seeing and receiving them. I wish to seek your treasures afresh to day. I ask you to give me these treasures that I too may pass them on. Please open my eyes that your treasures are no longer hidden to me. AMEN
