SOUL SNACK 26 ... He Pens My Pain!

'Record my lament, put my tears in your wineskin - are they not in your record?' (Ps 56:8)

Sadly, this desperate little waif leans forlornly outside his mother's door. Inconsolably he sobs, as his mother neither hears his tears nor registers his distress. She is in her lover's arms! Yet, he knows no arms around him at all, not now - not ever.

A selfishly disinterested mother is replaced by a very involved heavenly Father. This Father sees his son's pain. The tears of this waif He will not let go. He ‘bottles' them, for they are so pure important to Him. The endless tears of this sobbing son do not go un-noticed. They are so significant that they are stored to be kept.

This all-knowing and loving Father will catalogue His son's cares.

He pens His son's pain.

He observes and notes the distress. So high is His interest in His son.

This is no casual relationship, no faltering fatherhood … this is absolutely intimate interest.

“… He is not far from each one of us." Acts 17:27
