Soul Snack 8/174 ... Spiritual Momentum

Momentum is aleader's greatest friend. Enthusiasm is the yeast of productivity.Momentum stirred and shaken with productivity is recipe for success.

Jesusgifts each individual with three score years and ten to sow enthusiasmfor Him now, thus gaining spiritual momentum for the hereafter.

My spiritual momentum now witnesses to the heavenlies where my heart is while I am on earth. (Eph 3:10)

Thescarred hands of service, the hollow wallet from giving and the emptypillow of lost rest, all indicate my desire to build spiritual 'goforward'.

The worn kneecaps, the sore bent back, seeing thedaily sunrise, all pointers to the intentions of my heart. All areevidence of spiritual momentum. These are His followers greatestfriends.

'Spiritual momentum' is the yardstick of the believernever content to plateau. It is chosen! It is built upon! It isdelighted in! It is inspiring!

'Spiritual momentum' that isgained continues to invite the heavenly eternal into my earthlypresence. Maintaining this momentum never weakens His influence in mylife. Lethargy or sin are the easiest ways to lose momentum. Resistanceto the Holy Spirit is loss of His assistance.

God is fully committed and active in inspiring my spiritual momentum. He is doing His part for me already.

I will make an everlastingcovenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I willinspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul. Jeremiah 32:40-41
