Accelerating Wickedness
Evil multiplies at an hitherto unseen pace.
Yesterday a shouting ISIS inspired youth took a knife and axe to passengers on a Bavarian train. He was shot and killed.
There is a thickening pall of spiritual darkness descending further across planet earth. The wisdom to divide good from evil is well and truly lost.
Conflict awaits for those who would hold tenaciously to Christ, His eternal truths and His righteous ways.
An ever widening chasm expands between Christ's ways and the descending habits of human thinking and behavior.
Soaking both the souls and the soils of planet earth is the acceleration of wickedness, and so the love of many grows cold.
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold (Matthew 24:12)
The imperative for each believer in Jesus (those who have bent the knee to Him and received His forgiveness of sins) is to stand strong, even should those beside them stand no more.
It is the Kingdom of God we each uphold and eternal life we fight for. Enduring hardship to our end means Christians (to a man) refuse to live for mankind's approval, instead choosing for that audience of One.
Jesus successfully fought to roll open heaven's doors for us, now the fight is upon us (but never without divine help, for His grace is sufficient for each day) to secure our entry.
Let nothing move you, at all - for he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. (James 5:8)
