Kissing Peace
Soul Snack 160/14 ... Would you want God to say this to you? To a recalcitrant nation He pleaded:
If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. (Isaiah 48:17)
I do not want Him to repeat this within my hearing. My very being shudders, no - quakes at such a thought.
I want to pay attention to your commands Father and enjoy well-being like waves on the sea. Amen
There is much untapped energy, an enormous unharnessed power in waves. How much more strength then is gathered in righteousness (paying attention to His commands), which is the fuel of heaven?
Each day we arrive at life's decisive 'T' intersections, either a left or right turn must be navigated. Always choose the direction that promotes obedience, not the other one.
It is then you access the power of heaven.
It is then that waves of goodness begin to multiply and roll.
It is then they accumulate to become tidal waves of righteousness.
First pour out the obedient ripples of righteousness. Deciding correctly multiplies into unstoppable tsunamis, flooding life with a crescendo of peace and well-being.
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. (Isaiah 32:17)
It is in the Lord's economy that righteousness kisses peace.*
