The Posts of Discomfort#

Moses climbed Mt Sinai, Elijah climbed Mt Carmel, Jesus climbed the Mount of Transfiguration.##

God chooses various places for His own to climb, posts to hold to - but His people may choose otherwise.

Today the Lord asks:

Is where you are, where I asked you to be? I can use you anywhere, but I can use you best where I ask you to be. If you want to be used most effectively by Me, then stand where I ask of you. It may be uncomfortable, it may be embarrassing, it may seem boring, but will you not stand in that place just because I ask it of you?

I only ask of you that which is of greatest value to My kingdom; of greatest answer to My people, My church. If you will lean on Me and allow Me to use you where you will best profit the plans I have for you, then I will bless you, I will heal your land, I will allow My Spirit to move in power in your lives.#

How many false steps have Christians' taken by standing on comfort?

POSTSCRIPT: Please note there are also otherwise unavailable blessings through discomfort for the Lord.

Teach me your way, Lord, and I will walk in your truth (Psalm 86:11a)

The Lord cannot be forced to act by man, anymore than He will force man to act.

## The location for the Mount of Transfiguration has been debated since the 3rd century. Opinion mostly varies between Mt Tabor or Mt Hermon. (See Matthew 17:1-9)
