To a western world again shaken by the violence of extremist Islam we must remember God is not out of control.
My home, Sydney was rocked on Saturday for what I believe to be the first violent relgious based riots in Australia. There will be more to come...
Islamists have been offended by the dishonoring of their prophet - below is a wise Christian's response:
I am struck by the contrast: a Saviour who was humiliated and dies for his followers OR followers who kill because their prophet was humiliated. - Ed Stetzer
It is now timely to share these words of the Lord:
I will kindle a fire, I am active and alert, I have raised myself against those who rob well-being from the poor, steal justice from the down-trodden and call good evil.
Too long have I suffered, have I languished from the pride of the human spirit, the united defiance of Me and lungs that blaspheme My name by changing blessing to a swear to word.
It is within my power (I have no paucity of ability or blindness to correct judgement) to rend the heavens like a handkerchief and snap the earth like a dry twig. My intentions are for the black clothed hoards to cast their shadow across all peoples and then they shall be no more; Islam destroyed and My Only Son, the Saviour of the world to be re-instated.
He who has an ear let him hear.
Evil is loud but it IS the loser.
I will punish you as your deeds deserve, declares the Lord. I will kindle a fire in your forests that will consume everything around you. (Jer 21:14)
