A Wisdom for NOW!

Familiar and comfortably proud lives blanket the western world, selfishly sculpted by ambition and desires.

Each individual etches a personal vision on their sculpture of life for a preferred goodness, independent of the Eternal. Each sees the sculpture's flaws, also the scarred, incomplete or broken parts. Each sculptor then tenaciously embeds their fingernails deeper into the carving that it will not be torn away or lost to them, for their sculpture is the shape they WANT from life.

Christians too sculpt life. Into the craft of keeping life 'looking and feeling good', the efforts and repetition of each day obscure the might and inputs of God. He is left unconsidered. God's interventions pass unobserved and His name drips away from His followers lips. His presence in their lives becomes absent. God's promises wane unexpected, for they are unknown and not spoken out.

One thing that is better, a wisdom for now:

call out to Him today who cradles the earth in His palms, sculpts lives best and calls all people home, for only He knows the content and vigor of your tomorrow.

Not one soul can afford to shape tomorrow without first looking to its author in a Moses-fired humility today.

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them’ (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
