Where I saw failure you saw fashioning
When I was pensive you humbly sat at my feet
When I was self-shielded you disarmed me
When others were inattentive you weren't
When I was dishonored you honored
When I was fearful you showed me faith
When my spirit couldn't pray your Spirit did
When I was bruised you were tender
When I was broken you spoke
When I walked past you watched
When I was ignorant you informed
When I was unloved you loved
When my soul was hungry you reached out with bread
When I was lonely you shared yourself
When I was rejected you accepted
When I was sad you saw
When I was empty you praised
When I was terrified you moved close
When I was silent you knew why
When I was foolish you were gracious
and when I was kind you had already reciprocated.
In your presence is light but in your absence is loss I never want to know.

Jesus' intent is to carry you all the way to heaven as necessary; He will not falter and He cannot fail.
