Coals Upon the Soul ~ A

The body can be a polar cap while the soul can be an inferno.

Another's mal-intent has set alight your soul, and it burns to this day.

Forgiveness is heaven's fire-blanket; the covering of sin. It is the removal of offense from your sight and the sight of others.

Forgiveness is an internal conspiracy against self that plots to not look at an offense any longer.

To rehearse another's sin against you, to speak about it or give it long life in the soul is only a multiplying of the event. Such is the heaping of further coals, a superheating to a charred soul.

Unforgiveness fuels the torment and repeats the ache (or even agony). It adds oxygen to the burning fires of pain.

Forgiveness douses the flames of hurtful words and actions to your inner being. It begs to be heard and rightly promises betterment, for another's sins will no longer remain that cauldron within.

Forgiveness is as liberating as it is reciprocal.

REMEMBER ~ God will honor ALL my decisions upon earth, for I reap what I sow.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will bebound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will beloosed in heaven. (Matthew 18:18)

Upon the stairway to heaven the first step is stamped forgiveness. A receiver and doer be.
