Full Steam Grace

Wickedness is on meteoric increase. It is broadcast by both the media and perpetrators shamelessly to the world. We are painfully immersed in all manner of sexual aberrations, and concurrently bombarded by the sheer horror of beheadings.

Jesus promised the growth of evil as a witness to the end of times, a harbinger of His return.

It is unimaginable to my mind that the law breaking of sodomy can now be applauded by Christians and pagans alike; equally so, the blind brutality of decapitation as honorable duty.

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Matthew 24:12-13)

BUT...

Who am I to be the first to cast stones?

The nearer I approach God's throne the clearer my own skillset to sin becomes. Correctly I am saddened and my soul chastened - yet I continue to sin, AND too often at full steam.

HOWEVER...

The nearer I approach God's throne the soothing wonderment of grace too increases its life giving caress upon my soul. The more I peer within, the stronger my sense of unworthiness. It is then I must gaze into grace's warm light.

God's throne room is my classroom; I learn how He measures out grace:

the bewilderment of grace rises within me, for there is always one more unit of grace to me than the units of sin within me.

Jesus still welcomes sinners to His throne. My sin does not block His love.

Grace cannot be of this earth - for not only does it exist, but it persists.
