Grace Watches Vagabonds TOO#

Jesus comes for outcasts, the unacceptable and those with shattered dreams. He dreams of the accused, the abused and the angry - as His friends.

Jesus stretches down through the wispy clouds of impenetrable skies with open hands.

His eyes scan for the lost, the least, the last and the lonely. Jesus spares no effort as He reaches into the lives of the rejected, the rotten and the world's.

Descending deliberately to a world that would hinder, hurt and hate Him; He brought the rejected and the sinner the horror of self-sacrifice.

He gives to this day the power to believe where others deny, the hope to go forward where others despair, and to love even when the tank is empty.

Grace bellows:

  • you may be a disillusioned and saddened grasper of life,
  • you may be insecure, rejected, mistaken or even pot-bellied AND ...

Grace bellows again:

  • although you may panic,
  • be depressed and
  • have loneliness as your closest friend PLEASE...

‘never confuse self perception with the mysterious truth that you are ALREADY accepted, affirmed and approved.' #

Jesus is no respecter of privilege.

Jesus is no seeker of position.

He came and blessed the broken, the burdened and the battered. His grace first arrived and then bled for all vagabonds, aren't they too nailed by man to an unfair cross?

On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." (Matthew 9:12-13)

The incapacity of misery does not douse the capacity to find a friend in Jesus, but enhances it.
