Jesus Does Not Give Up On You

Even more diligently than the prince of the air roams the earth seeking targets (Job 1:7), is the diligence that Christians must guard their lives.

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. (Proverbs 4:23)

The imperative is for all Christians to listen to the quiet and small voice of warning (Genesis 4:7). This Esau did not listen too. It is whispered from eternal care and love.

The good Lord knows better and He sees more - listen to Him! His spirit can audit a man's heart far better than a man's spirit can.

The human spirit will always be informed by heaven or hell - choose heaven's information!

The observant man is on guard. He is no guard who is not observant.

Those on guard will look to counter the world's sin-laden dangers and accept the Lord's disciplines. They then flee to righteousness.

To scan for danger, to heed discipline, and to flee to righteousness is to enjoy life. it is to escape ruin!

Righteousness is first walked in a man's mind before it is walked by his feet.

From the heat of the battle, remember - no matter how you are tempted to give up on Jesus, He is never tempted to give up on you!

Jesus did not give up on you in Gethsemane, or on Golgotha - nor will He today.

All those the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never drive away. (John 6:37 NIV)
