Light from Watchman Nee
Getting me right is life's fight for my soul. This is my only light forward.
Legendary Chinese evangelist, church planter and author Watchman Nee (1903 -1972) successfully understood Himself. His final two decades did not dull his light although spent in jail. He suffered significant persecution.
From the light that only a peace-filled humility could pen, he wrote:
Outside of Christ, I am only a sinner, but in Christ I am saved.
Outside of Christ, I am empty; in Christ I am full.
Outside of Christ, I am weak; in Christ I am strong.
Outside of Christ, I cannot; in Christ I am more than able.
Outside of Christ, I have been defeated; in Christ I am already victorious.
How meaningful are the words,“in Christ".
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, (Romans 8:1)
By accepting His death as our death we enter into communion with the Lord. ~ Watchman Nee
