Peering Past Time

A sage will look past the veil, whether in seasons of ease or erosion.

Mankind can do nothing to hasten the times of grace, or halt the days of judgement.

Mankind in unity, or in dispersion, are mere peas on the plate of heaven.

Who is he who thinks he can judge God, and His works?

Mankind must redeem his times, but he can never move the set times.

Time is as fixed as God's laws for heaven and earth.

The quickened spirit or the dull spirit can do nought. They are impotent to prevent heaven's decisions, and arrogant to try. Otherwise evil would be free from Divine sovereignty, and its terrible grip upon earth would ever gain its deadly momentums.

When a man makes a plan, God laughs. ~ anon

The humble, the sober and the self-effacing shall surely act as King David:

I will wait for Your name O Lord for it is good, I will praise you in the presence of the Godly. (Psalm 52:9b)
