Have you ever been confronted, even struck by the faithfulness of Jesus to you amidst your poor reciprocity?
Have you ever seen the sins you continue to cherish despite the pleas of His Holy Spirit?
Have you ever attempted to reconcile Jesus' faithfulness to you with your faithfulness to sin?
I have, but I can't!
Yet I do know this, Jesus wants me to search for His faithfulness - to see it, for then I just may be a little less faithful to my sin and a lot more faithful to Him.
O Lord that you would tear my heart from sin, correct my wicked ways and deposit your Holy Spirit afresh in me so that I may no longer have eyes for me but only eyes for You. May I see your heart today. AMEN
Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. (Ps 86:11)
