Soul Snack 17/11 ... About YOU
Have you ever wondered how much of your prayers God actually listens to?
Have you ever wondered if He listens only during the TV ads?
Have you ever wondered if you speak to Him at the time He had made an appointment for you?
Have you ever wondered how much new information you can help God with?
Have you ever poured out your heart to God and found that you are telling Him nothing fresh, but telling yourself much that is new?
Your words, your chats, your prayers to God tell Him nothing original about you but they can inform you much about you.
God knows all about you, well before you ever pour out your heart to Him. He has already decided to listen to you and that you are ok. He will not look at you through eyes of criticism, a mind of fault-finding or a heart of accusation.
He will always respond to you through the perfect righteousness of His unfailing love alone.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life. (Ps 143:8)
