The Jigsaw of Heaven

Soul Snack 158/13 ... The Jigsaw of Heaven

A soul can touch heaven and heaven wants to own the soul - righteousness is the missing piece to this happening.

Bodies and souls wade in the shallows, captured by earth's bling. They wander distressed through the clouds of unmet ambition. It is as if each disciple tramps daily in a mire of distraction. This mud succeeds in preventing the inner man from diving headlong into the Divine and so they remain faith infants.

The writer to the Hebrews minces no words:

...by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, (Hebs 5:11-6:1)

For 2000 years countless Christians have neglected the deep wealth of faith and settled for an easy poverty. But this is not of the Lord or from the Holy Spirit He sent as our counsellor.

The acquiring of righteousness starts with seeking the deeper things of faith. It looks for a maturity to faith that milk can't satisfy.

The seeking of deeper things, the hunt for righteousness is found from one of two paths - the path of voluntary decision or involuntary decision. The path of involuntary decision is called suffering. Either way righteousness will be learned.

Here is the easy piece of the puzzle to touch heaven:

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. (Jer 33:3)
