Satan sifted Job and Peter. He strained them through the mesh of suffering.
Have you too been sifted?
Has your back collapsed, your spirit been crushed or your heart been broken?
Have you lost all or even denied Jesus?
Pain and temptation are as endless as life is long.
Temptations and struggles will remain to the end of our lives, but with a pure heart we will be restful even in the midst of a restless existence.#
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. (Mt 5:8)
No-one escapes distress but each can flee to the safety of purity, for it is there that God is met, His hand is held.
