Soul Snack 172/13 ... Satan's Aphrodisiac
Temptation is satan's aphrodisiac to evil.
Satans whispers, needles, cajoles, deceives, seduces and then finally bellows the spurious benefits of sin to all.
Through his ever increasing cacophony satan simply drowns out the gentle voice of Heaven gracing those who would attempt to sit at the Lord's feet.
After the aphrodisiac is drunk, satan then empties his quiver, loads his bows and fires his arrows. Shame, accusation, condemnation and spiritual fatigue is guaranteed to ensue.
Weakened then in battle, the assault is renewed afresh.
It takes less strength to fight with satan than it does to recover from a loss.
Submit yourselves then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
(Adolescent yaks in Mongolia resolving their differences.)
