What if Jesus was wrong?

Soul Snack 9/83 ... WHAT IF JESUS WAS WRONG?

"Dear Jesus, gift us to stop grandstanding and trying to get attention, to do the truth quietly without display, to let dishonesties in our lives fade away or accept our limitations, to cling to the gospel of grace, and to delight in Your love. Amen." (p144 B. Manning - 'The Ragamuffin Gospel')

I find such great fear in Mt 7:1-5. There is no speck in my eye, in fact not even a plank! I am almost sure I have a healthy and robust forest!

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Do I grandstand, seek attention and boldly claim truths all from a deceitful heart?

I think my heart may be pure, but that can be difficult to see thru the forest?

Maybe this verdant deep forest has even shrouded me in its canopy?

What if Jesus just got it wrong?
