The Journey to Love
God's intentions for life were that it should be a journey with love. Countless people have lived otherwise and continue to do so.
Many seek blessings or simply ache for the soft touch of justice and mercy.
Others long for recovery from fear, collapse, despair, depression and/or a broken heart. These are mere symptons to the absence of adequate love.
Jesus too wants us clothed in love, harmony and peace. He thirsts to love, He expends considerable effort to this goal.
The Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion.... Blessed are all who wait for Him. (Isaiah 30:18)
Surprisingly the path to receiving heaven's blessings is waiting. The pavers to love are stamped faith.
Blessings are not found in activity and the pursuit of self-will for:
BLESSED ARE ALL WHO WAIT FOR HIM.
This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: 'In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength... (Isaiah 30:15)
God places this banner of favor above all those that trust in the true words of He who they can't see.
In fact, to choose for repentance and rest and not pride with doing is aiming for the receiving of love.
There is a great bounty for those who are patient in the Lord, because it is He who binds up bruises and heals wounds.
The Lord binds up the bruises of His people and heals their wounds... (Isaiah 30: 26b)
The faithful learn that it is from patience with the Lord, His healing love is given.
Life must first be interrupted, for love is best received in stopping with your lover.
