Where is the disciple who will respond as Isaiah did, here I am Lord, send me?
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Is 6:8)
Where is the Christian who knows Christianity is a way of life, a subduing of the flesh and not just an intellectual exercise?
The young martyr Jim Elliot was correct, for he died what he lived ... He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.
