The Valley of Decision

The humbling plain and pain of Christian waiting upon God becomes the place where incompetence meets omnipotence.

And the Lord said:

You are now in a valley between twin mountain peaks; the peak of your solutions and the next peak which is Mine. You have used My gifting well. Everything you have is of Me, I love you so much. I have equipped you and you are proving faithful – well done good and faithful one.

It is now my intention to draw you deeper into My presence, do nothing to resist this, despite what it may cost. Should this cause hardship please do not be surprised, I know you will not flee.

Seek not to build or climb from this valley; be as patient with Me as I am with you, for the new house will be greater than the former one. Allow Me to build, this is your season now for dependence and not doing. Allow Me to release you.

This is the valley of decision - to camp or to march, to settle for what was or what will be.

“The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,” says the Lord Almighty. “And in this place I will grant peace,” declares the Lord Almighty. (Haggai 2:9)
