Twain Measures the Good Life

Soul Snack 45/14 ...

Life is short. Break the rules.

Forgive quickly. Kiss SLOWLY.

Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably.

And never regret ANYTHING

That makes you smile.

There are two ways to construct the human spirit.

There are two ways to energise the person within.

There are two ways to soothe the heart.

The first is in righteousness, the second is in sin.

Both will fashion the individual with good feelings.

Both will minister to a troubled mind.

Both will soak a thirsty soul.

But only one will issue in life.

Mark Twain plumbed life by both sin and smiles. No-one could so claim that sin did not offer beaming smiles, for then there would be no sin.

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (John 1:3-4)

Life is a battleground funded by satan, but living is a gift founded by the Son.

Measure the good life through its foundations, and not its funding.

Today's Soul Snippet:

Flee religion and find faith.
