2 Sources of Wisdom?
There were two trees in the Garden of Eden - one has seduced us and other has saved us.
Very recently I glanced a newspaper headline on-line - It has been proved that adultery is good for relationships.
There is nothing new under the sun. The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil still preaches permission to dine on forbidden fruit - science is the unquestioned scholar, the expert without error.
BUT ~ there are NOT two sources of wisdom.
The words of the wise are only given by one shepherd. (Ecclesiates 12:11)

The Tree of Knowledge acts to obscure and then deny the Tree of Life, for then it wins.
The Tree of Knowledge has denied the Bible, cast all manner of shadowy lies across its pages, and then rewritten the Bible stories to support its deceits.
Few have studied science at university or the Bible at a theological college and still believe a literal Creation story, or worldwide flood. The Tree of Knowledge has explained the Bible's truths away. Consequently it has cast the ashes of death across the remainder of God's Word, shrouding it in further life-threatening darkness.
The Tree of Knowledge claims to be either the only source of knowledge or the superior source, but it really is no source at all. Satan - the serpent, promised liberation and delight through it to a naked Adam and Eve; he only delivered slavery to desperation and then death.
The Tree of Life informs Bible readers by the Holy Spirit of Truth; the Tree of Knowledge informs Bible readers by scholarship, the spirit of science.
The ongoing disjunction between the Two Trees is expressed in the nature of daily living, the reality of study and the focus of mankinds' worships.
The Tree of Life is still sovereign over the Tree of Knowledge, but the Tree of Knowledge will never admit this.
Genesis 2 names two trees in Eden, but there is only one heralded in Revelation 22; only the Tree of Life lives on.
On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:2)
Examine the sources of your Bible knowledge, the diets of your faith - for only one tree bears fruit that is both true and timeless.
