Prophets ~ An Abrasive Company
Does not the Lord first reveal His intentions to His prophets, to those who call for repentance and sow to encouragement?
Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:2)
God is raising up a prophetic company who will act as an abrasion to the body of Christ.#
Such men and women seek no man's favor, nor expect it. They request no ordination save the daily touch of Heaven's hand.
They have been trained in the desert place and forged in the wilderness. They have been raised on misunderstandings and rejections.#
Today as yesterday - prophets are familiar, accustomed to, almost comfortable with the poor, dismissive or even angry response their voice receives.
These unlikely devotees of Heaven are shackled by the Holy Spirit of Truth to the Lord, not any religious system of man.
The Lord says:
they are refined as fire, they hold only on to Me.#
Prophets are the human regulators, to speak into the false systems and activity of the church. They are God's ecclesiastical re-set button. As with Elijah, they shall not cease until their voice is heard and the Lord's actions come forth.
It is through His steeled prophets that God stays His judgements should some repent.
