6 Words to Die for!

 

You have endured. You know you have.

Every step of faith (even faltering), every shred of suffering, every early morning and every despair of the body and soul will be vindicated at your appointment with Jesus.

Every fear, abuse, ostracism, insult, sarcasm, threat, punch ,jail or far worse (unmentionable) are recorded in the lament that is your tears.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. (Psalm 56:8)

It is truly then that your heart grasps all His maps for you.

Tears may well in your eyes, maybe cascade over your cheeks - you fall flat upon your face. You will then know that the destination was worth every difficult step, and also the fears of things unknown. It is then you encounter His nail-pierced feet and receive these gentle words you have long longed for:

... well done good and faithful servant. (Matthew 25:21a)

There are no more important six words to hear in all eternity.
