Prayer will be my 2026 rock
In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From His temple He heard my voice, and my cry to Him reached His ears. (Psalm 18:6)
Exodus repeatedly records Moses' heaven-aimed cries from an inhospitable desert for an incorrigble nation. His prayers were received, heard and answered.
Jonah's pleas reached heaven, even from a fish's belly.
And, Jesus was heard by His Father, The Son communing with the Father upon the mountain tops.
God's ears hear your very words too, they 'fly' to heaven. Revelation 8 pictures angels lifting your prayers in a chalice to heaven. The angels are God's postmen ensuring all will get through.
Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the Throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. (4-5)
