The 6 Outcomes of Christmas

Sprawled across the Father's eternal calendar, printed with gold leaf in His holy diary or locked in His iPhone reminders are the two dates that Jesus would visit earth. One has passed and soon celebrated, the second is yet to come.

Consider please how opposite the two appearances of Jesus upon earth are. Not far away six outcomes await:

1st time - only one star in the sky points to Him, (Matthew 2:1-2)
2nd time - all the stars will fall for Him. (Matthew 24:29)

1st time - no room for Him on earth, (Luke 2:7)
2nd time - all earth belongs to Him. (Philippians 2:10)

1st time - only a few will worship Him, (Luke 2:15-20)
2nd time - all will bow down before Him. (Philippians 2:10-11)

1st time - arrives in absolute humility, (Luke 2:1-7)
2nd time - returns in complete glory. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)

1st time - comes in peace and joy, (Luke 2:1-20)
2nd time - appears in punishment and judgement. (2 Peter 3)

1st time - defeats evil, (Luke 24)
2nd time - removes evil, taking His own home. (Revelation 20:7-15)

The Last Word:

Jesus did not enter this world to just change it, but to claim it. Be sure to get this right.
