5 ECHOES from the Galilean

What does Jesus ask? There is only one 'must', His lowest denominator:
The minimum Jesus would seek from a disciple is to JUST 'hang with Him', nearby, regardless of the pain, for they will be with Him in paradise.
Likewise He has already taught, indeed given us a brief bequeath:
- be your brother's keeper (a challenge first thrown to God from Cain)
- watch and pray - not be at sleep on the job
- live in humility, for He is far from the proud
- stand on THE truth, steadfast - not thrown around at the whims of many storms/opinions/theologies.
Satan's strategy is as simple to fall for as he fell from heaven:
make sin look normal and righteousness foolish.
In the height of Moses' hardships leading an impossible nation to an equally impossible land, he souught God...
The Lord replied, My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. (Exodus 33:14)
Moses could well be the model, but make sure you seek Jesus and His rest. Today we seek the man of Galilee, and His presence eagerly awaits.
